Singapore & Universal Studios Singapore again!

Hey, as i wrote on my previous, i said maybe i will blog about my Fraser's Hill trip. Ermmm, but i change my mind. I wanna post about my second trip to Universal Studios. But this time, I stayed at Singapore compared to last visit, which is only a day trip to Singapore.

Buttttt.. It was a disastrous trip ever for me!!! You why?? It's because Din forgot to packed the dslr camera!! Can you believe it?? Funny thing is, he only pack the flash light in his bag!! What I'm gonna do with the flash light?? Attach with it my camera phone?? Can you imagine how angry I am?? But I keep telling myself, it's a sign for me to come back to SG..

We went to Singapore via JB by flight. After landed we go to JB city using the airport shuttle. After fill up our stomach, we catch the bus to SG. We use SBS Transit 170 to Kranji MRT Station.. Cost us around RM1.80 per person all the way from JB to SG.

OK, when we reach the Woodlands checkpoint, I got stopped by the officer there for random check. LOL.. Maybe the officer thinks I'm a DRUG USER since I have panda eyes that day and also abit red beacuse i didn't sleep at all last night.

After arriving at Kranji MRT station, we purchase the MRT ticket to Kallang. We stayed at iBackpackers Hostel at Geylang Road. Only located about 5 minutes walking distance from Kallang MRT station. Arrive there around 2 pm, and got really tired. After check in, i got a very quick sleep before freshen up and start touring Singapore. Ok... I know maybe some of u will be a bit skeptical about going to Geylang Road.. But for me, we use the hostel ONLY FOR SLEEP, and iBackpackers Kallang is REALLY22222 comfortable to stay.. Might going back there if I want to cut my budget again..

Next, we start touring Singapore city. Before that, I went to Maybank Singapore to activate my debit card to be used outside Malaysia. (Yeaaaa I can enjoy shopping with my debit card at oversea's now... Onlyyyy if got balance in my account hahahahaha). From Maybank tower, we just walk to Fullerton to see the famous Merlion... But, sadly Merlion went to vacation that day!!!

What a bad day.. first the camera! Now Merlion is on vacation!!

We also went to the food fest in front of Marina Sands, but nothing really catch our eyes since most of it is non-halal. Plus we need to buy some kind of card like our TnG to purchase the food.

Second day on Singapore we spend the whole day at Universal Studios. Didn't take any photo's there since we only use our phone. Plus I also had a bunch of pictures during my previous trip. So, I didn't bother about taking photos there.. We just enjoy every ride there.

Last day, before headed back to Changi Airport, after checking out early in the morning, we went to breakfast at Orchard Road. We got breakfast at Oldtown Coffee.. Lame.. Shop a bit a Far East Plaza, then headed to Mustaffa Center. It's something like our Mydin store. I buy some Merlion Shape Chocolate for souvenir. After that, we go Chinatown.. Buy souvenirs for my family and friends and straight away went to Changi Airport.

That's all that I remember about this trip.. Spend around RM750 for this trip.. RM150 for flight, RM100 for accommodation, and RM500 for expenses (Still got balance about SGD100).. For USS ticket, I pre-buy it on the Resort World Sentosa Website with the Maybank card promo! Only SGD64! To cut our budget in Singapore, we use MRT as our transportation. (Got cash rebate SGD 1 for returning the ticket).

For the accommodation, I book it with Asiarooms.com.. Quite easy to book with their system.. I've been a frequent user with asiarooms.com  And for those who don't have credit card, you also can use your Visa debit card (Maybank cherry card) to book. No money will be deducted upon booking unless stated. You only pay when arrive at hotel. But in-case of No show at hotel, they will charge your card for 1 night.

Woops, not forgotten, we also pay around RM90 for parking ticket at LCCT for the whole 3 days.. Day 1 enter at 6am till Day 3 out at 9.00pm at Zone C..

Malacca The Historic State

Hey, recently I just print a photobook from photobook.com with the voucher I bought from ilovediscount with the price of RM38 instead of RM128 at normal price. Since I'm not good at putting sentences or telling story (andddd broken English), I'll post you guys the series of photo's that I put on my photobook.

For my first series of photobook, i decide to put Malacca as the topic. The photos were taken on December last year (Gosh... took me more than 3 month to finish it up.. ngek). Me and Din decide to go Malacca for a day trip just to capture photo's for my photobook. Actually im planning more series of my little journey into the photobook (only God knows when the next series will be out)

So this is the series of photo's that we take.. Actually most of the photo's were taken by Din..

The Chinese painting on the wall is my fav.  Anyone notice this building around Jonker Walk? If you walk to Jonker from Casa Del Rio hotel, you might notice this building. Very classic.

Those are some of our pictures during the day trip to Malacca (Too lazy to put all picture..). Notice on 1 picture above that my outfit is different from other pic? Heh it's because I run out of pictures to be included in my Photobook, so, I search on my pc's for old picture of me in Malacca. Lastly, this is the final result of my printed Photobook.

Forgave my broken english. Since this is travel post, I think it's better for me to write in English so that I can promote Malaysia to foreigners.

Little Kids! 3 Days 2 Nights Johor Bahru + USS

Continuation of yesterday's story.. Please read here to catch the first part.

Around 8pm (6th October 2011) we start our journey from Klang and reach JB around 1am (7th October 2011). Since it's already late during check in, we can't manage to arrange our bus schedule to USS next morning. Need to wait till 7am for counter re-open..

After check in as usual, went to the room and zonk out!

Ok, FYI, TUNE HOTEL JB rooms is really2 small. Max person can accommodate only 2. (Tak ada almari ok!) So, we just throw the bag on the floor and...
ZzzzZZZzzz

Around 7 am the next morning, we went to the bus counter. Sadly, the receptionist told us that the first bus departed to USS already full. So we need to wait for next trip around 9am. (Uhhhh buat penat bangun awal aje...)

So, we decide to go breakfast to fill up the time outside the hotel. (TUNE hotel don't provide breakfast). Pusing-pusing, there was no restaurant for us to breakfast. So, we went back to hotel to eat maggi mee at 7E inside tune hotel.

Suddenly the bus counter receptionist approach us and says there's a group of people didn't check in for the 7am bus, so he ask either we still want to wait till 9am.. Hell NO!!! i was super excited to go USS already!!
At the end we manage to get the earliest bus to USS. Journey from Tune Hotel to USS takes around 1 hour ++.

We arrived in USS around 8am +

The day this entry being uploaded is already 2013.. yaikss.. 2 years to update.. i lost my passion on blogging during those year.. My life was totally upside down during date time.. More negative story than happy story.. but early 2012, i've become more positive.. For the whole 2012 i've been struggling to get myself back on track.. be happy on what ever i do.. And now 2013 gonna be my years to shine!

A freshly start

Yup.. Typical topic during new year. Hello 2013! First thing to write :: Resolution. For more than 20 years, each year i set almost the same resolution which is :

1. Be a better person then last year
2. Study/work hard
3. Wakeup early
4. Be positive n etc etc etc

It's just a boring n almost the same resolution as previous year n none of them i really achived it! Therefore, this year i'm gonna change my resolution so I can tick at the end of the year if any of them is achived.

1. Take my family for a holiday trip supported by me
2. Play hard!!
3. Smile more and be pretty
4. Active blogging
5. Take as much photo as i can
6. Always do excersize
7. No diet but still need to take care of health
8. Do something crazy
9. Each month save money
10. Rewarding/pampering myself
11. Enjoy life as much as i can
12. Make my parents happy

I think the list will keep growing.. There's soo much i want to achieve this year.. Hopefully by year end i can tick half of it..

There's a reason i want to active back in blogging.. Recently I always read few SG bloggers such as xiaxue, sophie, qiuqiu, miyake,yutakis n ericlim.. Their blog is soo inspired and their photo is soo damn nice even some do plastic surgery to look more nicer n advance photoshop skills. They just showed that being a blogger is all about hardworking n be happy at the same time..

Stay TUNE!! 3 days 2 nights Johor Bahru + USS

Ok this is super super super delay post!!! Suddenly je i found the passion back to write in my blog..

This trip dah over a year dah (n i already went to USS for the 2nd time within a year ni).. But i still want to update it. Just to inspire 'budgeters' traveller like me.. hehe (i always plan my trip to the lowest cost)

so, this jb + uss trip was my first time travelling to oversea (haha singapore jeeerrr).. went there with my bf Din, my bff Ika n long lost friend, Karma..

Intially, i was planning for 2 days 1 night trip only, just to cut the cost. But thinking dat we will become super tired after back from USS, so i had to agree with others to extend another night.

As usuall, whenever it comes to planning for any trip, my friends will leave it to me (maybe sebab i work in travel agent).. huhu.. *sigh*

after few days of research to find the most cheap + comfort place to stay, we end up stayed in TUNE HOTEL DANGA BAY!!! super cheap and super comfort!!! deff. gonna stay there again if i have to travel JB again. (eh sekarang JB dah banyak tempat best)

For those yang not really familiar with hotel online booking, Tune Hotel provide a very2 simple step to complete ur booking.

1st. On their home page, choose which hotel you want to stay, put the date, how many room you need etc and click book now.

2nd choose your room type. In my case i choose 2 rooms with twin bed. So far, as to my knowledge, the double bed room is much cheaper then twin room. But i've book twin room instead for obvious reason which is the boys dont want to sleep on the same bed. Haha (Me n Ika dont have any prob to share bed).

3. Choose how many person in each room. Not sure y they have this option whislt the room only can accommodate maximum 2 persons.

4th step is my fav part when it comes to book with Tune Hotels. In order to save your bajet, you can simply add on or take out any choice you want. For 2 nights, i only choose to add the package of 12hour air-cond + toiletries. 12 hours onlyyyy??? I tell you aaa.. Memang cukup 12 hours of aircond.. If your credit finish, you can simply add it at their front desk..

I also add on coach from hotel to USS. Only cost us RM23 per pax for return trip to Resort World Sentosa.

Last part, review and payment. Just key in all information needed and  you will receive your booking number confirmation.

Since i already mention that this is a budget trip, so we want to put everything on budget.. Even our annual leave also tak mo bazir. Haha.. So, this us how our plan was. Thursday, work like usual, then at night baru start the journey drive to JB then in Friday early morning head to USS then saturday balik KL..
