Cameron Highlands with wrong timing

During last week on Wesak Day public holiday, me and few buddies decide to have a short vacay at Cameron Highlands. All I can say, it was such a disastrous holiday.. But it was probably because we travel there with the wrong timing. It was the first day of school holiday plus it's also a public holiday on that Friday.

We start the journey in the morning at 9.00am. By calculation, we should arrive at Cameron Highlands around 1 pm.. But.............. by 1pm, we only manage to get at Tapah RnR and stop there for lunch about 1 hour. We got stuck from Sungai Buloh to Bukit Tagar, and the other one is at Bidor towards Tapah due to accident. Finally we arrived at Cameron Highlands at 4.00pm

We straight away check in to our apartment at Villa Dahlia in Tanah Rata. Right after we check in, it started to rain outside.. So, we had to delayed our activity to the night market.
At 5.30pm, I can't wait anymore in the apartment, so we decide to go Night Market even though it's still raining.. Luckily i always keep extra umbrella in my car. I didn't take picture at the Night Market because it was too pack with human there even it's raining.

I bought so few vegetables for my mom, cactus and also a fried squid which is tooooo expensive.. Cost me RM10..

At night, we had our own steamboat in the apartment, since we were hungry and busy eating, i forgot to snap a single picture for the night.

Next morning, at 7.00am, I wake up and went for a walk from the apartment to Brinchang just to get a fresh air in the morning. But there is no fresh air there.. Soo much smoke from the lorry and buses that morning..

Next around 11.30am, we ready to continue exploring Cameron Highlands, butttt...... right after we went out at the junction in front the our apartment, there is already a non moving traffic jammed!! I was like... what the........
It took us about 1 hour plus just to get to Kea Farm from Brinchang.. !@^%&#^#%$ Luckily my car is auto.. If not my leg will get cramp. And.......... when we walk at Kea Farm around 5 minutes, it's started to rain again.......And it's raining heavily...

Then we headed to Boh Tea Plantation. It was such a beautiful place with great scenery.

- Don't travel to Cameron Highlands during super peak season (Public Holiday + School Holiday) if not, you'll be stuck in the traffic jammed up there..
- Villa Dahlia is situated right at the junction before golf club at Tanah Rata. If you're coming from Tapah exit, it's a bit difficult for you to see the hotel's sign
- Villa Dahlia is quite creepy when you look from outside, but inside the apartment is ok..
- Bring you own iron if you need it, they dont provide..
- Make sure you car have extra space.. For those vegetables, fruits and etc hahaha..

Fraser's Hill

Basically, it's just an unplanned company trip Fraser's Hill.. At first we only planned between few colleagues but at the end we decide to take it as company trip.. The more the merrier right??

So, on Saturday morning, we gathered at office.. Hahaha turn out that me and CT were the last person to reach there and everyone is waiting for us to board the coach.. hahaha.. And the coach also already waiting for us when i reach office.. This is what we called as "Janji Melayu".. kekekeke.. always late..

Me and my klik choose to sit at the back of the coach.. Yaaa you get dizzy half way, but that's the exciting part when you travel with bus and your buddies..

Journey from Klang to Frasers Hill should take around 2 to 2 1/2 hours top. So we decide to stop at Batu Caves for a sight tour. Ok its my first time be in other religious sacred place. But as long as our intention is just for enjoying the view, it shouldn't be any problem.

At first we just decide to walk half of the Batu Caves steps, but half way climbing, I decide to go all the way up since I might not getting any other chances to be there again.. And answers to all my curiosities about whats inside Batu Caves..

Batu Caves

If you see the Batu Caves steps from far, you will say, Mehhh.. Just few steps only to go up there.. Should be no problem to climb it.. Butttttttt you are wrongggg!!! It is very very very exhausted to climb till up there.. and there's no way i will climb it again..

Here's the picture inside Batu Caves.. For anyone planning on climbing the Batu Caves, please beware of the monkeys. They might attack you. Saw one almost attack a foreign tourist in front of my eyes. They are very fierce one you know..

Batu Caves

About 1 hour + spend time at Batu Caves, we continue to Fraser's Hill. Stop by at Restaurant Jejantas Sungai Buloh to have lunch..

We reach Fraser's Hill around 4++pm since our bus driver didn't know the route to Frasers Hill.. I realize that he use a very long way to go there following his gps..
Fraser's Hill

As usual, check in our room at Frasers Pine Resort.. It was a 3 Bedroom Apartment.. Complete with living hall, dry kitchen and 2 bathroom.. Since the weather is nice and chilling, the room doesn't need any aircond.. Only got wall fan..

Fraser's Hill

At evening, we walk to The Paddock which is only 5 mins walk from the resort. Went there to play archery.. Quite cheap i think.. Rm8 for 10 arrows.. I played archery before, but then it was indoor.. This one is outdoor archery.. So a bit challenging if the wind is too strong.. Always missed my shoot.. After finish archery, its already almost dark time, so we quickly back to resort and freshen up for our BBQ night..
The food is just ok.. Since the weather is chilling, I eat a lot of food. The bbq is serve at the lobby.. Not a very good spot n not privacy..

After dinner, we walk a bit around the resort to enjoy the weather.. Its  too cloudy that night.. Then we went back to room and play card game for the rest of the night.. Playing Snap Card is soo much fun. I remembered the last time i play that game is during primary school..

Next morning, after breakfast, we played simple telematch.. Filling the bottle with water using sponge, blowing candies in flour and walking with spoon and ping pong ball.. we didnt play many games since it is raining that morning.. so sad, my team ended 3rd place.. hahahha.. No price were given since we just went there for fun.. Then around 12 noon is time to check out room.

Fraser's Hill

If you went there with your family, you might consider to bring your own camping cooker or rice cooker so you can cook on your own. There not much restaurant open during night there. so maybe you can have steamboat dinner with your family.
